PATHS2 – Partnership for Transforming Health Services phase 2 is a DFID funded project funded which has been extended to August 2016. One of the PATHS2 programme staff participated in our Theory of Change training course in Brighton 2014 and asked IMA International to run a workshop for the staff of the project in Enugu, Nigeria. This work was named PATHS2 Innovation lab and aimed to introduce the concept of Theory of Change among the primary stakeholders involved into the public private partnership framework for Health System Strengthening. The two states, Lagos and Enugu, were chosen to run the pilot programme on Public Private Partnership with the aim of to creating more effectiveness to the way Health System is managed. A five day workshops on Theory on Change and multi-stakeholder processes was conducted in Enugu with 65 participant from public and private sector, both involved in Health System Strengthening under the new PPP framework. Two IMA consultants with support from a public private partnerships expert facilitated a process of sharpening the idea of public private partnership and creating a common ground for the participant to have a common direction on how to implement their strategy in the next year and a half.
