Tristan Measures and Catherine Lowery delivered 2 courses in Strategic Planning to
staff of the ECOWAS Commission.
These courses were attended by 20 staff members representing the Commission's
Operational Committee, and with responsibility for implementing the Commission's new Strategic
Plan, and for training staff members in Planning and M&E.
The courses were designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of the ECOWAS Commission
Strategic Plan, Strategic Planning methodologies, and tool and approaches
necessary for undertaking Monitoring and Evaluation of specific activities
associated with implementing the Strategic Plan.
These two training courses concluded IMA's Consulting support to the ECOWAS Commission's
Strategic Planning and Monitoring and Evaluation Project, which we delivered in
partnership with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (Nigeria) from August 2010.
