Senior Consultant

Lesley Williams (PhD) is a senior associate consultant with IMA International. She specialises in M&E and Capacity Development. She has 20 years’ capacity-building and learning design, development and facilitation experience (Needs Analysis Capacity Development Planning Competency-based Learning Active Teaching and Learning Course Design and Module and Materials Development), primarily in the education, infrastructure, rural development, government, and women’s empowerment areas. Lesley’s related practical experience includes – (i) former Director of a Public education curriculum and learning materials development company in NZ and (ii) Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management and Services and Non-Profit Marketing in NZ, Malaysia and Indonesia. She has M&E/MEL expertise, having consulted and trained in this area for more than 15 years – (i) conducting mid-term and final evaluations, (ii) Impact assessments, (iii) developing and facilitating M&E training and online mentoring and (iv) developing Results Frameworks, Proposals, and M&E Systems. Lesley has worked in Africa, Central and S.E. Asia, UAE, and the Pacific for a range of donors and clients, including the UNFAO, UNFPA, UNDP, the ILO, IFC, IFAD, ADB, Oxfam GB, USAID, EU, DFID, DFAT, MDF IP, the Red Cross, Save the Children and others. She is also the Co-founder and Director of the Asian M&E Forum.
