Leigh Dowsett is a Lead Consultant and Research Manager at IMA. She oversees consultancy contracts as well as the open courses. Leigh has an MSc in Anthropology, Environment and Development, as well as a first class degree in Anthropology, and her area of interest is in Common Property Resource use and environmental sustainability with a particular focus on perceptions of the interrelationship between humans and the environment.
Leigh has 10 years of experience in the agricultural sector and has been involved in many small scale sustainable agricultural projects and has extensive experience in qualitative and quantitative methodology and participatory techniques.
Leigh also works for a UK based charity that aims to increase awareness of Climate Change issues among the public using the Arts as a means of communication and works to translate complex scientific information into an easy to understand format.
